Ring AgainRing Again

Privacy policy

Last updated 30 October 2026. Ring Again is provided by FutureProof Sales LTD, the data controller. Questions: support@futureproofsales.io.

Ring Again does one thing: it keeps redialling an engaged number for you and rings you when it gets through. We collect only what's needed to do that.

What we collect

  • Your mobile number, verified by a six-digit code sent by text message (or read out by an automated call if you choose "Call me instead"). We need it to ring you.
  • The numbers you ask us to call and, for each session, the time, number of attempts, outcome and call length. We do not record calls or listen in.
  • An optional voice clip. If you record your own "one second, just taking you off speaker" line in Settings, Twilio stores that clip and plays it to the number you're calling while we ring you. Re-recording replaces it, and you can delete it in Settings at any time.
  • Caller-ID verification. If you switch on "Show my number", Twilio confirms you own your number through a short automated call and a code, then presents your number as caller ID when we dial for you. This is optional and can be switched off at any time.
  • An anonymous account ID created by Firebase Authentication. We don't ask for your name or email address and we don't link the account to anything else.
  • Purchase records. When you buy connections, Apple or Google take the payment. We and RevenueCat, our purchase-processing provider, receive a receipt and your anonymous app user ID so we can add the connections to your account and restore them if you reinstall. We never see your card details.
  • Basic diagnostics (crashes and errors) from Firebase, so we can fix problems.

The contact we save

During setup the app offers to save one contact — "Ring Again", with our number — to your phone's address book, so our calls show by name instead of as an unknown or possible-spam caller. This uses your phone's Contacts permission. The app only writes that single contact; it never reads, uploads or stores your contacts, and you can decline and still use the app.

How calls and messages work

Calls, verification texts and verification calls are placed through Twilio, our telephony provider, using UK infrastructure. Twilio processes your number and the numbers you call in order to connect them, and keeps its own call records as telecoms regulation requires. Our own data is stored with Google Firebase in London (europe-west2).

What we don't do

  • No advertising, no tracking across apps or websites, and no selling or sharing of data for marketing.
  • No call recording and no access to your call log.
  • No reading of your contacts — we only ever write the one contact described above, with your permission.

Retention and deletion

Session records are kept for 90 days for support and abuse prevention, then deleted. Settings › Delete my data removes everything immediately: your number, sessions, call history, any voice clip, the caller-ID verification held with Twilio, and your anonymous account. Apple, Google and RevenueCat keep purchase records under their own policies.

Who we share data with

Only the providers needed to run the service, each under its own privacy notice: Twilio (calls and texts), Google Firebase (hosting, database, sign-in and diagnostics), RevenueCat (purchase processing), and the Apple App Store and Google Play (payments). We don't share data with anyone else unless the law requires it.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, or for it to be corrected or deleted, by emailing support@futureproofsales.io. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If this policy changes we'll update the date at the top and, for anything significant, tell you in the app.
